VET in Schools Program

Available to High School Students

At the Australian Institute of Personal Trainers, we are passionate about helping young people fulfil their passion for health and fitness. Our range of fitness, sport and recreation courses provide high school students with practical skills that will prepare them to step straight into a job or continue onto University following graduation.

What is the VET in Schools Program?

The AIPT VET in School Program is focused on Vocational Education and Training (VET) and offers high school students the opportunity to graduate from school with a nationally recognised Certificate II or Certificate III level qualification.

Our VET courses are completed as a subject throughout years 9, 10, 11 and 12, in addition to your existing subjects.

Each course is designed to fit around your busy schedule and is delivered either online or at your school with a course facilitator.

Why should you study a VET course in school?

Our selection of fitness, sport and recreation courses will provide you with real-world experience in the fitness industry, preparing you for graduation with job-ready skills that may lead to employment sooner or provide a pathway to University.

The benefits of our VET program mean you can:

  • Gain additional credentials

  • Study a course you’re interested in

  • Graduate job-ready with a nationally accredited qualification

  • Get hands-on experience

  • Start your career while still at school

  • Experience a particular industry before you pursue a career pathway

  • Establish relationships with potential employers
